We are pleased to announce that EPEA Taiwan has partnered with Madaster Netherlands with the ambition of introducing a material registration system for the built environment in Taiwan. This collaboration rests on our mutual goal of urging on the circular economy in Taiwan’s construction sector.
EPEA Taiwan is a scientific research advisory organization with experts from economics, biology, chemistry, construction, environmental sciences, and other professional fields. They are committed to assisting partners in the development and optimization of circular economy products and jointly create a high-quality, recyclable, safe, and non-toxic Cradle to Cradle (C2C) environment to create new lives for products.
The Madaster Platform, launched in September 2017, enables stakeholders in the construction sector (owners, investors, contractors, developers, and government) to register and document real estate with respect to the materials and products applied. The platform automatically generates material passports for registered buildings. It also enables users to have a full online building dossier, provides insight into circularity performance, and indicates a real-time and future financial valuation of the materials embedded in a building.
EPEA and Madaster will combine the network and expertise to implement the introduction of material passports and realize the circular economy. We provide an ecosystem of material passports for partners from the construction industry in Taiwan. We are delighted to share more information on how to become our partner, then contribute and make use of material passports on architecture projects. Please see the brochures for your reference.
If you are willing to join our partner network or you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are looking forward to collaborating with you in the near future.
